Entering Week 7, here are The Arizona Republic’ s top 10 teams from each of the conferences and the eight-team Open Division. The Open comprises of the eight best big-school teams based on Arizona Interscholastic Association-generated rankings. No movement here. They’re where they’ve been since the preseason and not looking to go anywhere after erasing a , second-quarter deficit and beating Scottsdale Saguaro , avenging last year’s Open state championship loss.

They’ve outscored their first four opponents but will face Liberty, Hamilton and Chandler in successive weeks starting Oct. After a week off, the Lions, whose first-team defense has yet to give up a point, face Saguaro, which is trying to bounce back from the Chandler loss. Junior Navi Bruzon has been the most efficient quarterback in the state. They became the first team to score more than a touchdown against Chandler, but will need to figure a way to get others involved on offense and not just rely on QB Devon Dampier against another great defense in Liberty.
