La Senda – Workshops & Music Festivals
While it has been around for years it is now just becoming more open to the public and well known. Located about 20 minutes from Tamarindo is the largest Labyrinth in the world made out of Cactus! Yes, this is true! Even more interesting it is situated on two natural energy pulls.

The owners are from Europe and have been living in the area for years. They graciously open up their doors to strangers that want to walk the labyrinth on their own and take some time to themselves or they host a number of amazing events and workshops.
You can come out and enjoy a farm to table night where chefs will cook dinners from literally right next to you on their farm and serve it up deliciously to the table. There are also a number of spiritual workshops from sound journeys to breathing workshops and more. There is always something truly amazing going on here. Oh, and did we mention they have a natural amphitheater that is home to the Underground Ocaso Festival and for the first time ever the international EDM festival – BPM!

Breweries – From Potrero to Grande to Tamarindo
Get your taste buds ready! As the town and tourism grow, as does the curiosity for IPAs & local brews. Cruise around the area and you can swing by a local brewery in Potrero (about 20 minutes away from Tamarindo), then while you are checking out the surf in Playa Grande swing by Las Olas Brewery for another taste.
Don’t stop there as Tamarindo is home to the first brewery at Volcano Brewing on the beach at Witch’s Rock Surf Camp. Continue into town towards the Tamarindo Gym where they have now expanded their facilities and created an awesome brew house that you can visit and sit back with a cold IPA or snack on some bar food while swinging in a hammock. Before you leave jump on the half-pipe or play a game of corn hole with friends and family! This a brewery is family and dog-friendly with plenty of space for the pets to run around and there is also kid’s play area full of toys.
Thursday Night Market
Now that you know where the brewery is in town you will know exactly where the Night Market it is located! Every Thursday night from 6 pm to about 9 pm you can visit local vendors, try food from around the globe and enjoy some live music. Just before the brewery, there is a large parking lot that converts into an amazing night market. Vendors set up their booths and sell local goods, jewelry, CBD oil, food, drinks and more! You can wander around and try a little bit of everything and then sit back and enjoy some local live tunes.

Thursday Night Market
This is a must thing to do in Tamarindo if you are here for a Thursday. You will meet new friends (locals and tourists), fill up your belly, and/or take something special back home for a loved one or yourself!
