And a variety of great food. I suggest a reservation but I was able to squeeze in at the bar. I started with the nachos which were some of the best o have ever had. I followed up with the Mic Mac burger which was a massive half lb patty with the fixings. Definitely a great place to eat and drink if you can get in. I haven’t had anything yet that I didn’t enjoy. I had the Beef Dip with a Caesar salad and everything about it was delicious. The beef is tender and tasty with lots of cheese and mushrooms , I also had poutine , the gravy is sooo good.
The menu is quite large and they have daily specials. The prices are fair. The only downfall is that they run out of ribs allot so I haven’t gotten a chance to have them the last few times I was there. But I believe you can reserve them?
The ribs are the best in Dartmouth. They make their own ice cream cakes , I highly recommend. Staff are always so friendly and they all seem very happy to be there. Kelsey is a Gem , he’s great. He is very welcoming , attentive , full of suggestions and information. I highly recommend. Another famous Dartmouth institution in an absolutely lovely spot. It’s been a long time since I’ve been there, quite a few years, since the “unpleasantness” that need not be mentioned, but this is better times, at least for TIBS.
I used to live more-or-less next door, but I was feeling a hankering for their famous croissants. Usually, for seemingly gimmicky fare like artisan croissants, you don’t expect them to be so constantly busy all these years later, but every time I drive by there’s a line.
So, I purchased two croissants. My favorite, the prosciutto and provolone and a new-to-me croissant, the donair croissant. Crunchy, buttery, flaky, salty, sweet. The hard outer crust of their croissants is hit-or-miss for people. The donair croissant was something else. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it seemed like some sort of science experiment croissant engineering.
It definitely is something for a donair enthusiast, and quite good, but somewhat more novel than anything else. Coffee keeps the doors open, and I don’t drink coffee anymore or caffeine, but I know a good cup still when I taste one.
I had a medium roast, and it was quite good, smooth, slightly sweet even black. I had a taste of my companions latte, and it was quite good. It was exactly what you should expect from an upscale coffee place, but not the best I’ve ever had.
I rate this place at five stars even though there are four star establishments I would visit much more frequently, and my reasoning is this: TIBS does precisely what it sets out to do—make a premium artisan croissant.
It executes this perfectly. It’s a rich treat to enjoy on occasion. Fantastic coffee, but the croissants are the BEST. Not for the faint of heart, they’re a buttery, flaky, belly-full of goodness with a new flavor every week. Worth the trip every time. Hamburger restaurant. Fast food restaurant. First time trying at this place and we were amazed. I have to been to places where we can build our pizza but this is first time picking our own topping for our sandwiches.
Tried different sandwiches, all had distinguishing tastes. Have to mention their service. Really friendly and patient. The person who made our order was really patient while preparing when we wanted all the toppings in our sandwiches basically we asked to add everything when the time was pm and they were closing at pm and their were a few more customers behind us.
My apologies to him for all the requests. Overall experience was very good. Will be going back soon. I got the two-piece fish and chips. The fish was alright, not my favourite, but they were still pretty good. The chips, on the other hand, we’re kind of overdone, and the portion was huge, but that’s neither here nor there.
My girlfriend got the pulled pork poutine, and it was delicious definitely a must-try! So, all in all, if you are in the area, definitely check them out. Well, everything were on point. The service, The representative were friendly, The bread, meat and vegetables were fresh and juicy. There’re 50 kinda toppings that you can choose for your burger just like subway they’ll ask you at the end, So you can have freshness of it.
Bit expensive but you get what you pay for. It is so heavy though make sure not to order a combo when you’re not hungry. Loved the mango chutney, has it’s own authentic taste. Slide 1 of 5. Stopped in here for a quick bite after visiting the Dartmouth General Hospital. Was told this was the place to go if we were looking for excellent seafood….
This place was awesome, the food was amazing and the plate was overflowing; the service was extraordinary and the atmosphere was friendly and family oriented! The owner spent some time with our party telling us his background and making us feel like family. I would give this place 6 stars it was so great. Bravo team! I was searching for a feed of deep fried clams and fries, on my recent trip home, for the first time in 5 years, and on the last day we did a Google search and found this place.
I was astounded at the amount of clams that where in the order, and they were absolutely delicious! There were actually more clams than fries! I took the picture on the right, after I had eaten about a third of them, and removed the fries!
Definitely recommend you get your Maritime clam fix here! This is a hand-breaded, butter milk dipped chicken breast topped high on a brioche bun topped with southern BBQ pulled pork, house-made corn bread crumble and home made southern sausage gravy! Seasoned and fried to perfection. Served with a side of bacon BBQ beans. On top of the food the staff was excellent, attentive when needed and very friendly.
Trust me, the picture looks okay, but the real thing is just awesome. Two words Portions were huge and flavourful. Prices are great for what you get. Servers were amazing, not just with us but with the other tables too. Friendly and engaged and the takeout containers plentyful.
A great start to out sister get away! Quite possibly the most special hotel restaurant around I went NOT as a hotel guest btw. The bacon Chipotle burger I had was really good, comparable to many other gourmet burger offerings in the city for sure.
They offer a lot of other unique dishes. The fries were perfectly seasoned, and the cheesecake I had was super special as well! Only reason I didn’t give five stars is because there was room for improvement in the quality of the beef and the cheesecake. Well worth a try, I will definitely be back! Try it on Wanderlog.
Slide 1 of 2. Family restaurant. Group accommodation. Seafood restaurant. Classic restaurant, great breakfast and customer service. Had a derby skillet the steak tips were amazing with hollandaise and egg royal amazing mmm per bite with decent coffee. Grogu approves haha. The staff is really friendly and the service is fast. Here are some pictures of the tasty plates my husband and I had: Nachos, Steak sandwich with the maritime chowder and sundae chocolate ice cream.
We’ll be back! Thus USED to be a great restaurant but the prices have nearly doubled over the last years and the quality has gone down. One person in our party ordered a medium rare steak only to get a well done paper thin tough piece of meat that was full of gristle. To be fair they did get another steak for her promptly but since the steaks are paper thin now they have a hard time cooking to the customers requested doneness. European restaurant. Mediterranean restaurant.
So glad to be able to eat at Palladium again! I had the Eggs Benny Poutine, it was ooey, gooey, tasty and filling. The hollandaise lasted til the very last home fry was dipped and there was a lovely mess to sop up with my toast. It was everything I wanted it to be. Hubby had the Clubhouse with Fries. His sandwich was full of fresh roasted shredded turkey and fixings the fries were hot and crispy. We devoured our brunch! The service was perfect. Our server was very pleasant and always smiling.
Palladium has delicious Greek food and pan fried haddock. This is my go-to delivery place for Greek, especially their spanakopita and lemon potatoes. There was once an error in my meal and when I called to notify them, the owner brought me the correct meal himself! They are family owned and local, you won’t regret eating here! I need to try their brunch! The service was great.
Friendly and attentive staff. The food was decent, diner style meals with good portions. Milkshakes were delicious! Will definitely be back. Generally I found bar foods are average or below average, and some items maybe tasty; however at St. Louis, every single items were so delicious. I tried all vegan options, everything was superb. Ordered tonight through Skip The Dishes. I’ve always had a great experience dining in at St.
Louis so i figured it won’t be any different for delivery As you can see from the pic, my patty was pink in the middle but i was reassured by a friend that it should not harm me but still should bring it to their attention. Im just writing this review in hopes of St. Louis seeing this and is more careful next time. Everything else was fine with my order which is why i still gave a 3 star but it would have been a 4 or 5 if it wasnt for this undercooked beef patty.
Our family of 18 visited for our mother day supper. We were disappointed. Usually ur place is bang on but not this time. Breakfast restaurant. Canadian restaurant. Not a big fan My sandwich had a weird taste, my sister ordered crepes and they were not cooked. They placed all the kids in this area right next to a blender that hurts your ears and since my brother is a kid, we were placed in that area, w thought nothing of it but soon that little corner was full of kids.
They messed up my order and we just didn’t enjoy our meal. Food is delicious environment is generally good prices are on par with the food. Our server was generally punctual but she seemed liked she just didn’t want to be there.
Superior attitude. Still recommend Cora’s highly. The food wasn’t that great, my crepes where soggy and undercooked and fruit wasn’t in great condition They sat all the families with kids with the loud blender Wich was anointing Just ate the Honolulu burger extremely good meat very tasty Thank you oh forgot to mention the fries are fresh hand cut.
One place has fish and chips one place is burger I want places the Mexican food, this is a neat idea and have a giant Canadian Miral on the wall. Great burgers with lots of tasty condiments. Curry mayo for the fries was a great choice. All travel reservations in 1 place Never dig through your emails again — access all your flights, lodging, and any reservations in 1 place. The hash browns are great and my partner enjoyed his Eggs Benny. There gluten free pancakes best I have had yet! This location specifically.
Server was very attentive and friendly. The person that was working as Host could use a little training. When I tried to ask for a gf menu and started to ask, she cut me off and explained she was our hostess and not our server so I would have to wait. She didn’t even want to know what I needed.
When our server arrived she easily and swiftly retrieved the menu from the hostess station even tho it was not her job. Service has always been prompt and friendly, and you can count on the server’s advice regarding the food.
If you want a cheap and delicious breakfast buffet, stop by on the weekend mornings. Very poor selection of draught, Food is ridiculously, ridiculously overpriced. Its also not even good!
Ordered a chicken alfredo which was just a bowl of grease left me feeling uneasy. My wallet and my stomach hated me for going there. Small little cafe with seating for about a dozen people. Italian restaurant.
Pizza was fantastic, but it’s also worth mentioning how personable the staff are. Took my young son in with me and they gave him a candy and were just super upbeat and friendly. In a time where the ‘get you in, get you out’ mentality is the default for many businesses, it’s really refreshing to visit places like Pizza Time who go the extra mile to deliver a positive buying experience. Definitely going back. A gem indeed. Polite and helpful staff. It was easy to place my phone order and pick up time in order in advance.
Highly recommend supporting local businesses like Pizza Time during this difficult year. Thank you, we will return :. Visited on a Sunday morning with a large group of family from all different directions. When I inquired about this by phone they said they didn’t do reservations, but they went out of their way to have several tables in a row finishing up at the same time to accommodate us.
We were aged 10 to 85 and everything in between. The atmosphere was just what we needed to visit and chat while waiting for breakfast. Our server was super. Attentive, keeping the coffee cups filled and the tea pots hot.
The food arrived hot, piled high with fresh fruit. Back to Login. Reset Password. Return to Login. Where to Brunch in Dartmouth Home And relax Where to Brunch in Dartmouth….
