If you downloaded an ISO file for Windows 10, the file is saved locally at the location you selected.

If you have a third-party DVD burning program installed on your computer that you prefer to use for creating the installation DVD, that program might open by going to the location where the file is saved and double-clicking the ISO file, or right-click the ISO file, select Open with and choose your preferred DVD burning software. Right-click the ISO file and select Properties. Then right-click the ISO file and select Burn disc image. Intel Xeon Processor E Utility Download – IRD_SDK_vexe ()

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Got a pc downstairs with intel celeron and i have installed windows 10 without a problem but cannot get it on intel xeon. Surely this cant be true? This thread is locked. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread.

Nothing is the specs explains why I cannot install windows Obviously I have assumed that it is Xeon that’s the problem but I want to know why celeron is compatible but Xeon isn’t?

Any ideas? In the end I rolled back to 8. I don’t know why this happened really. How much ram did you have Simon? I’ve got 8g wondering if it’s worth trying what you did? The clue was in the excessive disk utilisation and high processor load and reading a forum about getting SSDs to work.

Can’t say the road going from Windows 7 to Windows 10 on it has been the smoothest experience; but it was possible on this particular machine; with a Xeon processor. There are many examples of Xeon processors running Windows 10, it is not as simple as saying the processor class is not compatible. These are predominantly dependent on the production age so it is entirely possible a Celeron is OK yet a Xeon is not. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community. Sadly thru the use of the tools, I found 2 of my systems will not run Windows Now I’m figuring out how to move my Windows licenses to different hardware just to take advantage of the free upgrade.

Free to Microsoft, but not free from the use of my time I eventually got my twin xeon HP xw to fly with windows This is a very slow mode of disk access where the processor has to do a load of work. The system absolutely flies now and brings a new lease of life to some quality older kit.
